To download the original document, click the document name in the viewer header.
Viewing Spreadsheets
When viewing a spreadsheet, you can use several tools to manage sensitive content. These options include applying standard redactions, redacting and viewing comments, headers, and footers, and controlling the visibility of redactions, charts, and objects using the toggle controls below.
Headers & Footers
If the selected sheet contains headers or footers, a notification badge appears on the Headers & Footers icon showing the number available to review. The count updates when you switch sheets and displays 9+ when more than nine are present.
To view the Headers and Footers on a spreadsheet, click the grid icon on the right of the document viewer.
Note: CSV files do not contain spreadsheet headers, footers, or comments.
Comments
If the selected sheet contains comments, a notification badge appears on the Comments icon showing the number available to review. The count updates when you switch sheets and displays 9+ when more than nine are present.
To view the comments on a spreadsheet, click the comments icon on the right of the document viewer.
Object Visibility
When viewing a document, Blackout can change the visibility of redactions using the visibility toggle in the top-left of the document viewer. By default, the redaction toggle starts in a solid, visible state and can be changed to transparent or hidden.
Note: Redaction visibility settings remain in effect when navigating between documents but reset when the page is refreshed. When Redaction Visibility is set to Hidden, redaction tools are disabled and new redactions cannot be placed.
