Viewing PDFs and Images

Blackout provides zoom controls when viewing PDF and Image documents, allowing you to adjust the document size to match your review preferences while continuing to navigate and review content normally.

Zooming In and Out

To change the zoom level while viewing a PDF or Image document:

  1. Locate the zoom controls in the toolbar on the top right side of the document viewer.
  2. Enter a zoom percentage in the zoom field, or use the + and − buttons to increase or decrease the zoom level.
  3. Alternatively, hold CTRL while using the mouse wheel to quickly zoom in and out of the document.

Selecting a Zoom Mode

The zoom mode dropdown provides additional options for automatically sizing the document within the viewer:

  • Automatic Zoom: automatically selects an appropriate zoom level when the document is opened.
  • Fit to Page: scales the document so that an entire page is visible within the viewer.
  • Fit to Width: scales the document to match the width of the viewer window.

Your zoom settings are maintained as you navigate between PDF and Image documents. Refreshing the page resets the zoom settings to automatic zoom.
