When a production is shared, it is accessed directly within Blackout. A user is invited via email, creates an account, and exports the production as a CSV file. This section also includes instructions for viewing multiple shared productions from the same organization, as well as important considerations regarding revoked access and regranting access.
Viewing a Shared Production
Before You Begin
- When exporting a production, a CSV file of the produced files will be exported.
- An administrator can revoke access to a shared production at any time. If you lose access to a production, an admin can regrant access to you by sharing the production again.
- When creating a Blackout account, a password must meet the requirements listed below.

How to View a Shared Production
- After an organization shares a production, you will receive an email invitation for Blackout.

Click the 'Click here to view' link.
- A new tab will open in your browser and navigate to Blackout, where you can finish creating an account.

Fill in the remaining details for your account. The requirements below must be used when creating a password.
- Click Continue. You will automatically be logged into Blackout, where you can access the shared production.

To export the production, click 'Export Production' at the top of the page.

A CSV file containing the documents from production will be downloaded to your device.
Productions from the Same Organization

- The steps below will explain how to view shared productions from the same organization
- To view a shared production from a different organization, you must switch to that organization to access it. To learn more about working with multiple organizations, click here.
How to View Multiple Productions from the Same Organization

If an organization has shared multiple productions with you, but from different workspaces, click the Production Shares button in the navigation panel on the left

A list of the workspaces where you are permitted to access will be displayed.

Click the workspace name to access the desired production.
